What's New for the 2027 Ford Super Duty?
For 2027, Ford condenses the engine selection for the Super Duty truck to two potent options. The standard engine is a heavy-duty 7.3-liter Godzilla V8, while drivers requiring maximum torque can select the high-output 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbocharged V8 diesel engine. Fresh paint finishes for 2027 include Iconic Silver Metallic and Neptune Blue.
The adventurous Tremor Off-Road Package is now selectable on the work-ready base XL trim. Upgrades installed with the package include an electronic-locking rear differential, skid plates, 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, and a factory suspension lift with Tremor tuning.
Additionally, Ford introduces the Carhartt Edition, a model that captures the rugged spirit of classic workwear. Unique interior fabrics, signature Carhartt branding, and custom 20-inch wheels distinguish this truck from the rest of the fleet.

Ford structures the Super Duty model line into five primary trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum.
The functional XL trim comes equipped with heavy-duty vinyl seats, 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and an 8.0-inch SYNC 4 display featuring wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® support.
Style upgrades arrive on the XLT trim with 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome bumper accents, comfortable cloth upholstery, and a power-adjustable driver's seat.
Mid-tier Lariat models prioritize passenger comfort with dual-zone automatic climate control and heated/ventilated front seats. Tech upgrades include a 12.0-inch touchscreen with navigation, an eight-speaker B&O sound system, and a digital driver display.
With its distinctive southwestern design, the King Ranch model provides Active Motion massaging front seats, a head-up display, and power-deployable running boards. The Platinum trim crowns the lineup with standard advanced towing tech.
How Much Horsepower Does It Have?
Output for the standard 7.3-liter Godzilla V8 stands at 430 horsepower and 485 lb-ft of torque. The optional high-output 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel engine delivers 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque.
