What Are the 2026 Mustang Trims & Features?
You can get the 2026 Ford Mustang in one of six trim levels.The base Mustang is the EcoBoost, equipped with LED headlights and 17-inch wheels. A dual exhaust is standard for both form and function. The EcoBoost comes with keyless entry and dual-zone climate control. Cloth seating is standard; a leather gear shifter adds a premium feel. Tech features include a Wi-Fi hotspot, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a 13.2-inch infotainment screen, and a 12.4-inch digital gauge display.
EcoBoost Premium adds synthetic leather seats and ambient interior lighting. A heated steering wheel is standard, and the front seats are heated and ventilated. The trim also includes an upgraded audio system, proximity-sensing exterior lights, and power-adjustable mirrors.
The GT trim brings a functioning hood vent, larger brake rotors, and trim-specific styling cues.
GT Premium includes everything on the GT and upgrades to 19-inch wheels.
The Dark Horse advances performance with engine oil coolers, a B&O audio setup, custom 19-inch wheels, an active exhaust system, and unique styling and badges.
The Dark Horse Premium further readies the car for track use - roughly 500 hp from a 5.0L V8 (available with a 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic), MagneRide® dampers, high-performance Brembo® brakes, heavy-duty engine/transmission/diff coolers, and optional Handling Package and RECARO® seats for drivers seeking more capability.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2026 Mustang Have?
EcoBoost trims have a turbocharged 2.3L that makes 315 hp. GT trims use a 5.0L V8 that puts out up to 480 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque. The Dark Horse delivers about 500 hp.
What Safety Features Does the 2026 Mustang Include?
