What's New For the 2021 Ford Edge?
The Ford Edge does not get many changes for 2021. The Edge remains a solid contender in the class of two-row crossover SUVs. For its size, the Edge has an impressive passenger volume and cargo space. It also has some of the top infotainment and technology features in its class, including a highly visible display screen with bold graphics and user-friendly controls. Multiple engines provide various options for power. The Edge also comes equipped with forward-thinking safety technology. Stylish design and commendable power and performance are other notable qualities of the 2021 Ford Edge.
What Features Are Available for 2021?
The 2021 Ford Edge is offered with four trims. The first trim level is the SE. The SE is well-equipped for a base trim with attractive 18-inch wheels and an interior loaded with features including a Wi-Fi hotspot, a sound system with six speakers, a backup camera, reclining seats, and an infotainment system featuring Ford's Sync 3 infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and multiple USB ports. Safety technology is also standard.
The SEL adds more amenities, including simulated leather seats and power-adjustable front seats. Its steering wheel is wrapped in leather for comfort and style. Roof rails and heated seats are available. The ST Line is a sporty edition of the Edge with a black-accented trim and 20-inch wheels. The Titanium trim has a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system. It gets sport-oriented seats with leather upholstery and heated seats in the back. The ST has a more powerful engine, standard 20-inch wheels, suede and leather seats, and a sport-themed interior.

Edge Powertrain and Its Performance
Most 2021 Ford Edge trims are powered by an identical engine. They are rigged with a four-cylinder turbo 2.0L engine that takes regular gasoline. The base engine reaches up to 250 HP at most and churns out 275 LB-FT in torque. This engine connects to an eight-speed transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard. The ST gets a V6 engine with an increased power rating of 335 HP. All-wheel drive is standard.
2021 Ford Edge Safety at the Forefront
Lane-keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic braking, and forward collision avoidance are standard safety features. Adaptive cruise control and evasive steering control are added through a package.
