Featuring an impressive lineup of elite vehicle brands, the race has fostered innovations that have transitioned from the workshop to everyday driving. Ford, a household name in the United States and internationally, plans to participate in the event starting in 2027.

 
Austin Cindric, Ford Performance NASCAR Cup Series driver, has been selected to join the Ford Multimatic Motorsports team for the upcoming 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona. He will step in for Ben Barker, an endurance driver who suffered a broken collarbone in a skiing accident over the holidays. Cindric will race alongside regular team drivers Mike Rockenfeller and Sebastian Priaulx in the Ford Multimatic Motorsports Mustang GT3.
