What's New for the 2026 Ford Bronco Sport?
For the 2026 model year, Ford introduces an available Bronze Package for the Bronco Sport. This aesthetic upgrade includes 17-inch Sinister Bronze wheels and striking bronze-colored exterior trim. The theme continues inside the cabin with dedicated bronze accents. This new package can be added to either the Big Bend or the top-spec Badlands trim levels.
What Are the 2026 Bronco Sport Trims & Features?
There are four available trim levels: Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, and Badlands.
The entry-level Big Bend trim comes standard with a 4X4 system and five G.O.A.T. Modes™ for enhanced off-road versatility. Its tech-forward interior features an 8.0-inch digital gauge cluster and a 13.2-inch SYNC® 4 touchscreen with wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® integration.
For a more nostalgic appearance, the Heritage trim offers a white-painted roof and unique plaid cloth bucket seats. It also gains all-terrain tires to improve performance on loose surfaces. Its overall feature content is closely aligned with the Big Bend trim.
The Outer Banks trim is the choice for those seeking a more luxurious interior. It features leather upholstery and heated front bucket seats. To ensure optimal comfort for all occupants, dual-zone automatic climate control is standard.
Designed for serious trail enthusiasts, the Badlands trim features an upgraded off-road suspension and an advanced 4X4 system with a twin-clutch rear-drive unit. Steel bash plates provide essential underbody protection. For maximum capability, buyers can opt for the Sasquatch Badlands Package.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2026 Bronco Sport Have?
Most trims are powered by a 1.5-liter EcoBoost® three-cylinder engine that produces 180 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard 4X4 system manage the power delivery.
The Badlands trim receives a larger 2.0-liter EcoBoost® four-cylinder engine. This unit is tuned to deliver 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. It is also paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, though this trim adds steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
