2018 Ford Mustang Overview

America's favorite sports car returns with several notable enhancements for 2018. Highlights include refreshed styling on the vehicle's front and rear that add even more visual pop to the overall look of the iconic sports car. A Dizzying Amount of Features

The 2018 Ford Mustang in Houston is offered in four trims: EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT and GT Premium. The coupe is available in all models, while the convertible can be had in all but the GT trim.

The EcoBoost is the entry-level grade of the Mustang kingdom and comes with a variety of state-of-the-art standards that you're sure to love. They include keyless entry and ignition, a 4.2-inch center display, two USB ports, Bluetooth and six-speaker audio system that delivers concert-like sound quality.

Even more amenities can be had on the EcoBoost Premium, as noted by 2018 Ford Mustang reviews. They include leather upholstery, power front seats, dual-zone climate control and 18-inch wheels. Entertainment-wise, the model gains Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for added convenience. 

Built to Perform

Most models utilize a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. It can be matched to either a six-speed manual (standard) or 10-speed automatic transmission (optional).

GT models are the most powerful of the bunch, employing a 5.0-liter V8 that puts out a truly impressive 460 horsepower and 420 pound-feet. The motor is paired to a six-speed manual gearbox as standard and 10-speed automatic as optional. 

Safety Equipment

The 2018 Ford Mustang in Houston is fitted with antilock brakes, various airbags, and traction and stability control for improved handling on adverse roads. Ford has also equipped every model with a rearview camera for added safety. GT and EcoBoost Premium trims can be had with a slew of driver-assist technologies too, including forward collision alert, blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert and adaptive cruise control.
