What's New for the 2019 Ford F-150 Model?

You can expect to see significant improvements in the new F-150 compared to the 2018 model. The higher trim levels get enhanced features as standard while the base trims feature minor improvements. You can find all trims in any of the cab styles offered by the 2019 F-150, including regular cab, super cab, and super crew. In addition, the 10-speed automatic transmission is standard with all but one engine, which is another great bonus.

Which Trim Levels Has Ford Created for 2019?

The trims levels are XL, XLT, Platinum, Lariat, King Ranch, Raptor, and Limited editions. The work edition trims that include XL and the XLT trims offer basic features although owners have the option of customizing them in different ways. Other standard features for the XL trim include AM/FM radio, air conditioning, flip-up seats, vinyl floor, tilting, or telescopic wheels. The XLT trim includes power lock windows, chrome bumpers, CD player, and cloth front seats.

The Luxury trucks include the middle trim levels like King Ranch, Lariat, and King Ranch trim levels. Some extra features available for the middle trims include keyless ignition, the manufacturer's Sync 3 infotainment system, 8.0 inch LCD, and the XLT trim features. The higher levels like Platinum, Limited, and Raptor editions feature more enhanced standard features like remote start, Blind-spot monitoring, wood trim, a dual-pane sunroof, LED headlights, surround-view camera system, and ambient lighting.

Buyers of this model can expect it to feature a direct injection that helps it achieve a significant fuel economy compared to its predecessor.

There is also a dual-turbo 3.5 L engine V6 engine that offers you a 375 hp. horsepower with 470 lb-ft torque and you can get more power for the Raptor trim which gives a horsepower of 450 hp. and torque of 510 lb-ft. There is a diesel engine for the new Ford F-150 that features a 5.0 L V8 that produces a horsepower of 395 hp. and torque of 400 lb-ft with 10-speed auto transmission.

There is an option of the dual charged 2.7 L V6 engine that can offer a horsepower of 325 hp. and torque of 400 lb-ft complemented with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The luxury trim for the new F-150 features a 5.0 L V-8 engine that achieves a horsepower of 395 hp. and torque of 400 lb-ft. with a 10-speed auto transmission.
