Last month's passing of William Clay Ford, former chairmen of Ford's design committee and grandson of company founder Henry Ford, has had a profound effect on the automotive industry. To honor his contributions to Ford throughout the years, the company has decided it will award $1 million in automotive design scholarships over the next 20 years.
