Specs at a Glance
For 48 years running, the Ford F-150 has led U.S. truck sales-and it's easy to see why. Even the base trim often outclasses fully equipped competitors. If you demand top-level performance in a pickup, the F-150 is it. The trim range begins with the XL and culminates in the King Ranch, offering two very different experiences. Identify your must-haves before you decide.
Performance
XL models come with a 2.7L EcoBoost V6 paired to a 10-speed automatic. The 23-gallon tank on regular-cab versions lets you keep rolling longer. With 325 hp on tap, it handles every task. King Ranch models step up to a 3.5L V6, making 400 hp. Both trims also offer the 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 as an option.
Appearance
The XL's design is functional yet refined-black front grille, matching bumper, LED reflector headlamps. Standard exterior conveniences include bed storage boxes, a power lock tailgate, and heated side mirrors. King Ranch models elevate the package with a twin-panel moonroof, two-tone paint, LED cargo lights, and a remote tailgate release.
Features
Inside, the XL features black vinyl seating and flooring for easy maintenance. King Ranch trims deliver luxury appointments: Mesa leather-wrapped steering wheel, color-coordinated carpeting and branded mats, a full heads-up display, and ambient lighting. You'll also get a B&O Unleashed audio system and extra safety tech like Pro Trailer Hitch Assist. Whether you want a work-ready truck or one that's almost fully loaded, these trims fit the bill.
