As one of the most identifiable auto brands on earth, Ford has been a leader in the industry for decades. Its high-quality models have shaped U.S. and international markets alike. Now, the brand is accelerating into electric vehicle (EV) production.
Ford to Double EV Production
Ford CEO Jim Farley revealed plans to double EV output this year in the U.S. and at its plants worldwide. The company already produces the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning domestically and exports these fan favorites globally. Ford manufactures around 100,000 EVs annually; the objective is 250,000 by late 2025.
Ford's Electric Vehicles
One standout is the Mustang Mach-E: an SUV that marries spirited driving dynamics with striking aesthetics. It remains among the market's best-priced electric SUVs with multiple powertrain options and about 320 miles of range.
The F-150 Lightning is also noteworthy. This all-electric truck delivers roughly 240 miles per charge, quick acceleration for its class, and formidable towing power.
