Specs at a Glance

The 2026 Ford Bronco Sport provides a compelling mix of everyday practicality and off-road spirit. Two popular trim levels, the Big Bend and the Badlands, offer different levels of equipment to suit various driving demands. Both models embody Ford's commitment to durability and adventure.

Performance

The Big Bend's propulsion comes from a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that produces 180 horsepower. This engine is paired with a standard all-wheel drive system. The Badlands is powered by a 2-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 250 horsepower and features an advanced 4x4 all-wheel drivetrain.

To support off-road excursions, the Badlands is outfitted with a twin-clutch rear drive system that can manage torque distribution to individual rear wheels. It also includes steel skid plates and a lifted suspension system. The G.O.A.T. modes on the Big Bend cover five essential terrain types, while the Badlands adds Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl modes for more specialized navigation.

Appearance

Visually, the Big Bend and Badlands are distinguished by several key exterior features. While the Big Bend typically has a roof painted to match the body, the Badlands comes with a shadow-black roof. Both models display white BRONCO lettering on a carbonized black grille. The Big Bend offers additional styling flexibility, including options for ebony-black grilles with bronze lettering and door handles that match the body paint.

Features

Occupants in both the Big Bend and Badlands benefit from the Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0 suite of safety features. The Badlands version adds a trail view camera and front parking sensors for easier maneuvering. Technology is further emphasized in the Badlands with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, compared to the 8-inch display in the Big Bend. Additionally, the Badlands features dual-zone climate control and leather-trimmed seats with heating elements.
