Ford's all-new advertising campaign, By Design, is urging Ford fans to create artwork for digital billboards that are currently featured in a number of cities across the U.S., including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. The goal is to get fans more involved with the brand and allow them to express their love of Ford cars, trucks and SUVs.

To take part in the Ford’s exciting campaign, all you have to do head over to Ford By Design's official website on your computer or mobile phone and select which major city you'd like your artwork to display in. Next, you’ll be able to create a customized design using a variety of special effects and colors at your disposal. Once you're finished and submit your image, the design will join the billboard's queue and is likely to appear in a matter of minutes, along with your name and hometown. Camera’s placed near the location of the billboard will also take a "billboard selfie," so you can share your design on Facebook or Twitter for all your friends to see!

"The By Design campaign goes far beyond how our cars look. It's about how our cars make you feel," said Schoder. "We are turning the lens on to the consumer, allowing users to create our ads and really letting them feel connected 'by design'."
